Really Lost in Translation

Have you watched the movie "lost in translation"? Most people deem it as an absurd movie as there is not much of an ending and one may feel cheated for spending nine bucks after watching it. Well, I liked it then and it basically depicts a movie star (played my Bill Murray) with a sense of emptiness, and a neglected newlywed(Scarlett Johansson) meet up as strangers in Tokyo and form an unlikely bond. Kinda reminds me of me and cheeky. Heh. Nevertheless, I relate to the problems they had in Tokyo. LANGUAGE BARRIER. Visiting Tokyo is like a trip down to "martian" land, whereby "friendly aliens" greet you, but you have no idea what they are rambling about. And it goes the same for them. I, mirroring a smiling "martian", just kept nodding my head. Fortunately, for the next few days, I can get acquainted with my English again in the conference! Phew!

Other than the lack of sleep from the flight, I am very satisfied with my single hotel room. A bit tiny ( I guess it's the same for a lot of hotels in Japan), but very very comfortable. I'm in luxury again. Haha...and there's a bath, Kimono and slippers, free broad band internet access, hi-tech toilet facilities, english radio channel, CNN...Blissss...Oh yeah..guys, there is a 24 hour free porn channel too. I have attached some photos of my room as seen above. Reminds me of the time when I was in Interlaken (Switzerland). Well, some of you know the story.

Gonna indulge myself in a bath first and then probably head to some sightseeing...
